University of Cincinnati

The Children’s Environmental Health Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center conducts research and training to reduce disease and disability in children caused by environmental hazards. The center studies the behavioral effects of prevalent toxicants.

Harvard School of Public Health

The Center for Children’s Environmental Health and Disease Prevention Research at Harvard School of Public Health was established to understand the real problem of the Tar Creek Superfund Site in northeastern Oklahoma and the effect of the metal contamination in the mining waste on the Native American residents. The goal of the program is to determine the potential hazards of the exposure to the mixed metals on child health and development.
